Industrial sewage is generated during technological processes in numerous types of sectors. In order to assess its harmfulness, one has to know not only the composition of general sewage drained from the entire industrial plant, but also the composition of sewage streams drained from particular production departments. The knowledge of quantitative and qualitative parameters of sewage allows for assessment of a necessary degree of treatment, for which drainage of the sewage into a natural reservoir will not cause water quality to deteriorate. It would be desirable to obtain better quality of sewage than that of water in a reservoir. On the other hand, there is economically specified minimum that has to be assumed in order not to increase costs of a plant and to make the price of a product competitive as compared to global prices. The problem of sewage is particularly seen in coke plants, petrochemical plants, tanneries, cellulose plants, dairies and sugar production plants. Untreated sewage from such plants pose a high risk for natural reservoirs.
In this case, an ideal solution would be to use ZH type cylindrical tanks manufactured by Trokotex and equipped with two integrated supports or a tank with a single integrated continuous support made of GRP.
Industrial sewage storage tanks are used for contact with sewage, water, aqueous solutions of chemical with a wide range of pH, organic liquids and food preparations. An industrial tank can be used for medium with maximum temperature of up to 140°C.
