WATER TANKS

Vertical potable and technological water storage tanks
vertical-water-storage-tanks-trokotex

WATER series vertical tanks is a widest range of water storage tanks in the market. The tanks are made of GRP plastic also referred to as polyester and glass laminate, which is ideal for storage of potable and technological water.

TROKOTEX water storage tanks can be widely used both in the private and public sector. They have been much appreciated by designers of sewage treatment plants, water treatment plant and General Contractors of industrial investment projects, power plants and environmental protection.

ZV type cylindrical storage tanks are composed of a tank cylinder and two tank ends. Tank ends may be delivered as ellipsoidal, flat or conical, depending on an investor’s demands. Tank ends and jackets of cylindrical tanks are laminated with the use of a contact method on rotating cores and matrix moulds and, then, assembled, including manholes and stub pipes and nozzles to create a monolithic whole.

Vertical tanks are delivered in the sequence of internal diameters of 800 mm, 1200 mm, 1600 mm, 2000 mm, 2400 mm, 2800 mm, 3200 mm and 3700 mm and greater as standard. A tank can be of any length, which is restricted only to due transportation.

As every tank is delivered as tailored, distribution and size of connections (basic stub pipes and nozzles, manholes, thread connections) can be agreed and will not affect the price of a finished tank.

Tanks intended for storage of potable and technological water are equipped with the following elements as standard:

  • a filler nozzle,
  • a stub pipe,
  • a vent nozzle,
  • a manhole,
  • transport handles.

Apart from standard equipment, we recommend the following options in potable or technological water storage tanks:

  • PUR foam insulation (for tanks exposed to temperatures below zero; the insulation prevents water from freezing effectively)
  • a heating system based on a heating duct with a power cabinet (recommended especially for extreme temperatures or as additional protection against freezing)
  • liquid level gauges
  • GRP/AR steel ladders (internal and external)
  • service platforms (enabling maintenance and operation of the equipment)

All tanks manufactured by Trokotex Polymer Group are subject to detailed tests in the Test Laboratory accredited by the Technical Supervision Office. Additionally, WATER series tanks have been attested by PZH [State Hygiene Authority] for contact with potable water. We use best quality resins and glass fibre for production, which has a lot of advantages such as:

  • resin does not contact with a medium such as water (the water is not contaminated),
  • tanks are characterized by excellent corrosion resistance,
  • it is possible to manufacture large products in untypical shapes,
  • the tanks are characterised by low weight and high mechanical strength and resistance to UV,
  • costs of maintenance are limited to minimum.
